The National Chief inspector of schools Dr. Hagga Hilda Ampadu in a Facebook post sited by informedteachersnetwork.com indicated that, the National school inspectorate Authority (Formerly; National Inspectorate Board) is getting ready for their next inspection/ stakeholders engagement in the Eastern and Volta Regions from 31st May to 4th July, 2021 as part of the awareness creation of NaSIA and its mandate. This was after they are done touring the western region with same mission.
The National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) is an agency under the Ministry of Education, mandated to register, license and inspect all Public and Private Pre-Tertiary schools in Ghana under the Education Regulatory Bodies Act 2020 (Act 1023).
All public and private pre-tertiary schools are instructed to ensure that they are registered and licensed by NaSIA by the end of December 2021.
In preparation towards this very important exercise, Pre-Inspection training was held for inspectors. This training is to prepare and equip them with the focus of the Inspection as well as it’s dynamics. This is to ensure that no school is found operating illegally without license.
