GES Announces Payment of Capitation Grants for Conduct of End of Third Term Examination 2022

In a GES letter dated 12 December,2022, Metro/Municipal/District Offices are to use no more than 50% of the grant amount for the examination, with the remaining amount to be sent to the schools for the running of schools by headteachers.
The GES has also instructed regional directors of education to bring this information to the attention of all Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education. This announcement comes as the GES continues to prioritize the education and well-being of students in the country.
“We are committed to ensuring that our schools have the resources they need to conduct end of year examinations and provide a high-quality education to our students,” said Dr. Eric Nkansah, Ag. Director-General of the GES. “The capitation grant will help to support this important work, and we encourage schools to use these funds wisely for the benefit of their students.”
