Kpandai Education Directorate in Northern Region Receives 2300 Dual Desks

As part of the nationwide distribution of furniture to basic schools in need, over 80 schools in Kpandai Education Directorate in the Northern Region have received 2300 dual desks.
This move is aimed at improving the quality of education in Ghana and providing basic needs and amenities to public schools.
The Minister of Education in Ghana, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has expressed his confidence in the government’s efforts to improve education in the country. He stated that “little by little, we will reach the apex in our quest to improve Education in Ghana for our future leaders and generation.”
An additional 2700 desks are expected to be dispatched to schools in Kpandai Education Directorate in two weeks. In total, more than 40,000 pieces of furniture, including dual desks, library chairs and tables, teacher’s chairs and tables, notice boards, and bookshelves, are expected to be distributed to various basic schools across the country.
The distribution of furniture is part of the government’s effort to create an enabling environment for effective learning and teaching in basic schools. The move is also expected to promote a positive learning culture and increase students’ and teachers’ interest in education.
The dispatch of dual desks to over 80 schools in Kpandai Education Directorate is a significant step towards improving the quality of education in Ghana and providing basic amenities to public schools.
